This 5 mile walk takes you to the spectacular roof of South Wales by climbing to the top of the highest mountain in southern Britain, by the shortest route possible. Pen-y-fan (886m) sits in the central Brecon Beacons National Park, commanding sweeping views for miles in every direction. This popular mountain attracts visitors from all over the world, and you’ll see why. As well as being a favourite with the military for training and navigation, the summit is a beautiful spot for a picnic and capturing that special moment with your camera. Once at the top your breath will be taken away by the beauty of the National Park, where in every direction you can see lakes, mountains and forests. Your experienced guide will ensure you have a fascinating learning experience during your trip to this stunning part of Wales.
