Wales is the only country in the world with a continuous path around its entire coast. The Wales Coast Path compromises 870 miles of unbroken, often breathtakingly beautiful walking. Between two of Wales largest cities lies a sumptuous strip of the Wales Coast Path that is both beautiful and refreshingly unspoilt. Sitting next to the Bristol Channel, this impressive stretch of coastline encompasses wildlife rich river estuaries, sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, rock pools and sweeping ocean views. This 6.5 mile walk starts near the pretty village of Ogmore-by-sea. The walk then proceeds parallel to the sea along sandy beaches and clifftop paths where across the channel the North Coast of Somerset and Devon in England will feel within touching distance. The walk then takes in the picturesque Dunraven Bay, a beautiful cove of sand and shale with numerous rock pools where you can enjoy some delicious Welsh snacks and even paddle in the sea. Your experienced guide will ensure you have a fascinating learning experience during your trip to this stunning part of Wales.
